In general, I had a OnePlus 8T before this smartphone. And now using OnePlus 10 pro, I did not understand why I bought it. There are not many changes, the upgrade was not worth it, there is no sense of novelty and progress. Yes, compared to Samsung, Xiaomi and Vivo, oxygen OS is better, but there is still a path to simplification. More and more manipulations need to be done in order to do this or that action, less and less customizations, and I loved this brand for all this, for geekiness, for flexibility and speed. For me, as the owner of oneplus 8T, this smartphone is a disappointment. I was waiting for more improved cameras (these ones shoot so-so, I notice the jelly effect, discontinuity during video shooting, incomprehensible camera settings, like 120 frames per second can only be shot in 4k, but not in 720 and 1080), better autonomy due to a larger battery (which the big screen eats) due to LTPO (which freezes at 120 frames and does not always decrease with a static picture), I was waiting for more customizations. But I didn't get any of that, and everything else about it is the same as the OnePlus 8T. And by the way, 12 gigs of RAM is not enough for him, he takes a few extra gigs from the smartphone's memory. If you put a pure 12 gigs, then it starts to unload applications from the memory. The shell does not allow you to turn off the recommendations / news feed from Google. The Shelf window is useless, but at least you can close it. When you press the off button, Google Pay is no longer visible (maybe it’s not relevant in 2022, but in other countries I used it and chose maps, it was very convenient and fast). Charging at 80 watts is not very different from Warp 65 watts in terms of charging speed. Xiaomi already has 120 watts, now this is serious. I was also surprised that the charging connector and cable with type C - type C again became type A - type C. It seems to me that it would be better if I bought a Zenfone 9. More compact and powerful, and judging by the reviews, you can change more settings in it and do everything for yourself. OnePlus has lost the spirit of innovation. No more Never Settle. More like Settled Down.
