LIGHTNING VALUE (JOULES) ELSE Flash strength: Okay, that's an important thing. In a professional hair removal salon, the power level of a pulsed device can reach 40 or more joules per pulse. With home devices, particularly cheap ones, often less than 20 joules, but mostly more than 4-10 joules per flash, i.e. significantly less. I have the top rated $400 IPL device, TRIA 4x, it maxes out at 20J and it works great. Also in the salon I managed to get rid of the facial stubble in about two months, and it did not appear for several years. Even though salons say it's permanent, it's still not really permanent, and even then they recommend touching up. I've never been able to completely remove hair with cheap home appliances (I've used them on my legs), but I've had areas that grow back less, or areas where the hair disappears, but it wasn't permanent. So let's look at the quality. This device. See page 21 of the manual for the number of joules per level. Level 1 - 6.5 joules per flash Level 2 - 9.5 joules per flash Level 3 - 13 joules per flash Level 4 - 14.5 joules per flash Level 5 - 16 joules per flash This is quite incredible to be honest and I think That price is worth it considering how high joules per flash can be. If you look and research really cheaper IPL devices, the joules per flash are very low, sometimes not even higher than level 1 devices. So keep in mind that the higher price pays off for an intensity that removes hair better. But be very careful because I don't recommend using level 5 which can be very painful or aggressive on your skin. I'm just saying that the mid or low end of this product is probably more powerful than the cheaper IPL device. This is an IPL hair removal device that is designed to remove hair permanently and painlessly. It includes unlimited flashes, dual intelligent cooling, adjustable power levels and an automatic flash mode. Like most home IPL systems, this system is not recommended for light hair or dark skin. Mild if you have fair or tan skin and medium to dark hair color, this option is best for you. I have tan skin and black hair so I usually do well with IPL systems. I make my rating based on my experience with two IPL devices at home as well as my experience in a salon where a professional hair laser was used. I will also update my review later as this is just my first initial review of the initial experience with this device as it takes a long time to get results from such products. The manual says that after 11-12 treatments you should see a significant reduction in hair growth in the areas treated with AP10. In the first month it is recommended to use it twice a week, in the second month it is recommended to use it once a week, and after that it is recommended to touch up every 4-8 weeks. Now the device itself is beautifully designed and packaged so nicely compared to the cheaper products I have used. The price is high, especially when you can get much cheaper products, but it really does feel a lot more premium than other brands. This IPL device also has two flash modes, manual and slide and flash, which is amazing. Essentially, you can set the automatic mode to work on large areas at once. Well! Great product so far, will update with results.
