I had the cleats 19" apart and had to return the regular cleat separator version (AEON-45200) and replace it with one ( AEON-45250), which provides more distance. Please measure your studs before ordering! It extends a full 32 inches, but only in the horizontal position. If you want to turn 90 degrees to the side, the distance to the wall is reduced by a few centimetres. It worked in my case, but if your screen is larger than 65 inches then most likely it won't do 90 degrees, ask the manufacturer about the geometry. When folded, it lies nice and close to the wall. The tilt control lever prevents the extensions from rotating when the platen is pushed all the way back, but this can be bypassed by installing a couple of 1/4-20 screws in the slot and leaving your own lever free. Conclusion: very good solid mount, I am very satisfied with it.
