These shoes are great for those who are willing to walk. They have a thin rubber sole which I liked outdoors after rain to keep my feet (and socks) from getting wet. The opening of the shoe is a bit tight. I struggle to put them on my 11 month old's slightly chubby legs but once put on they fit great. They don't usually come loose either, maybe that's why the holes are like that. The photo here is after about 5 applications. I can tell the fronts are getting a little rough because my girl is basically still crawling. They scratch when she crawls on the sidewalk. If you are very active outside, they wear out quickly. Normal for moderate use. They're cheap and little feet grow fast.
