Because the Mavic Mini base kit does not include a charger other than the drone itself, you cannot charge the batteries during flight. And considering how long it takes to charge the batteries, you really don't want to waste that time. I like it because it fits anywhere and just slides onto the battery posts. It offers a USB-C port for charging, and if you have a QC 3 port it will charge even faster. It has a red status light that turns off when the battery is fully charged. Very basic but very economical, uses a more modern USB-C (which I wish the drone would use too) and is very portable. All in all I recommend it.
