Review on ๐Ÿถ Hurtta Casual Quilted Overall, Dog Coat: Stylish and Warm Outerwear for your Canine Companion by Amanda Smith

Well made and good quality. Greatness can be difficult, but don't give up.

It fits very well and appears to be very well made. It's worth noting that the zip runs at the top of the back, which means you have to wear the jacket inside out. If your dog isn't used to having their paws raised or pulled through the sleeves, this can make the jacket even more of a challenge. Luckily the dog in the picture is used to dressing up lol. The description is accurate in the sense that measurement along the spine is most important in determining sizing. In other words, if your neck and chest measurements are very different from your spine measurements, it is best to choose a size closer to your spine measurements. The dog pictured wears an 18L. Because his neck is so narrow, the opening where the neck enters the jacket is relatively large. That's nothing and an extra bandana won't fix it. Overall it fits very well and has enough room for you to go about your business without getting your jacket dirty. I suspect this will last a very long time and is well insulated so it should keep her warmer than any of her sweaters. It's also important to note that this jacket offers a little more room to maneuver if your dog wears a smaller sweater. Alternatively, the jacket does not interfere with putting on the seat belt, as you can see in the photo. The dog is pictured where his harness is on the outside of her jacket, however there is a clip hole near the shoulder blades if you wish to put your dog's harness on first. Leg openings are positioned high enough at the ankles to minimize mud or water. Put on a jacket. Paired with winter boots, these two accessories go well together. Overall very satisfied and apart from the tricky sizing which leaves a lot of uncertainty if you get it right the first time it's a very well made jacket. The price is a bit high but if you live in a colder climate it's worth it. For the curious, the dog in my photo is also wearing a Ruffwear tactical harness. I highly recommend this product in addition to this jacket. It has a soft grip along the spine to grab the dog at times when you may need to control him quickly.
