Remember, these are oils!

Hey everyone, I hope you’re having a great day. I bought the super greens brightening serum and here’s my experience with it. For the record, I have oily, combination skin with fungal acne and dehydration where my hyperpigmentation is.I was mistaken and believed it was a legit serum that I could use before moisturizer but it’s an oil. I figured it would moisturize and brighten, a 2-in-1! I began using it during the day with sunscreen and the corners of my mouth with would feel tight and dry throughout the day. I figured I was just adjusting or the brightening effects were drying me out a bit but I realized it’s an OIL, therefore it doesn’t moisturize, especially the areas where I have dark spots. So, I began using aloe vera gel (which doesn’t hydrate my skin alone) with a few drops of the brightening OIL on my face then applying my sunscreen. It seems to work better this way and I don’t feel the dry, stinging tightness. I can’t wait to see results :)

Pros
  • This serum has a pleasant fragrance that is not overwhelming.
Cons
  • It makes the skin appear greasy
