I bought this personal safety device for my mother in March 2021. It's May now and it's not working properly anymore. I also agree with the other reviewer regarding the ring that holds the device on the chain. It requires work and can easily lead to device loss. I really like that it can be recharged. When it arrived 2 months ago it was very noisy. The permanent and flashing light is also a nice feature. I was recently visiting my parents and was playing around with the device and found that it is very, very quiet when I pull the chain to set the alarm. It seems to be working, the alarm goes off but you can't hear it and it was in my kitchen. Had it been outside or during a panic it could have done more harm than good if it wasn't working properly. This is not acceptable as it is a personal safety device. This device is endangering the life of loved ones and should be discontinued immediately until it is more durable and working properly.
