I have previously bought the same green belt but without the money pocket on the back. When I saw this I returned another one and bought this one instead. I used it for a trip to Italy and it worked fine. Obviously it's not big enough to be used as a typical "money belt" which is more like a small wallet that you wear under your clothes and can hold money, passport, etc., but it's useful for emergencies, cash and photocopies. My passport is like a lifeline in case my real documents are lost/stolen. Luckily this didn't happen during my trip. The buckle is easy to use and keeps the belt secure. The zip pocket is secure. I didn't shorten the size of the strap but you could if you wanted to because the wallet doesn't extend the full length of the strap. Overall, this belt was exactly what I expected and I'm glad I have peace of mind when traveling.
