Review on πŸ’‡ Remington HKVAC2000A Vacuum Haircut Kit: Ultimate Hair Clippers & Beard Trimmer Combo (18 pieces) by Haley Sammons

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well but the blade dulled after a year of use.

I have mixed feelings about this trimmer after a year of use. I will divide my review into three parts and give a separate rating for each aspect. 1) Vacuum cleaner: would give 4 out of 5. Is working. Not perfect, but definitely works. i am happy here You still notice hair around the sink, but it's 70-80% less. Ideally, to get the best results from a vacuum, you need to drain the chamber before each haircut. 2) Main Blade (32mm) and Adjustable Comb: 2 out of 5. It worked well initially, except I was never able to trim my mustache perfectly under my nose. . I use the main blade (32mm) and position #6 for the adjustable comb. It's just too big and at the same time too short to fit under your nose. So I have to take the comb off and do the work myself, which is good but not perfect. Right out of the box I would give it 4 out of 5 points. Unfortunately, the blade dulled after a year of use. I've found that I now have to cut 2-3 times longer to get the same results as when new. It also pulls on my hair, which sometimes causes a feeling of pain. This is exactly why I decided to write this review. A year is a very short time for a trimmer to dull, which means it's made of very cheap metal. A blade/comb replacement costs $17 + tax, which is 60% of the cost of a new trimmer. Blade rating lowered to 2 out of 5.3) Battery: 5 out of 5. I have had no issues with the battery or charging. After a year of use, it is enough to cut it several times. I can't say the exact amount, but at least 4-5 scraps is enough. Probably more. No complaints here. Overall: 3 out of 5 points. At first it was a regular trimmer, not the best of my life but solid. The vacuum works and you can definitely cut your hair. Unfortunately, the blade is only good for one year, making this trimmer quite expensive. Remington sells replacement blades for the very high price of $17, which is 60% the cost of a new trimmer. If they sell a replacement for less than $8-10, this trimmer might be a good buy. At the moment I cannot fully recommend the product.
