Review on πŸŒ™ Nappler Adjustable Shredded Memory Foam Luxury Pillow - Premium Bed Pillows for Comfortable Sleep, Back, Stomach & Side Sleepers - Detachable Washable Bamboo Modal Cover (1, Queen) by Angel Yergeau

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High quality, comfortable, supportive and adjustable!

My husband and I have been dissatisfied with our pillows for a LONG time but were reluctant to buy a new one for fear of further disappointment. We've done extensive research on Revain. We were looking for queen-size pillows, a traditional pillow shape rated good for side sleepers that seemed to strike a balance between softness and support. We also looked for pillows that have over 90% 4/5 star ratings on Revain and have been reviewed by over 100 customers. Finally, we focused on the shredded memory foam pillows as they seemed to get the highest satisfaction scores. These Nappler pads were a clear precursor and although we didn't know the brand we decided to take a chance, especially as we had never had adjustable pads before. The pillows arrived compressed and rolled up. in rectangular boxes that were surprisingly small. According to the instructions, we unpacked the pillows and let them "inflate" for 1-2 days (you can also put them in the dryer, but we didn't). The cushions look pretty flat out of the box, but as you can see from the photos, they have quite a bit of bulging. They were big enough to be a bit difficult to fit into our queen size pillowcases, but at the same time they were lighter than our previous pillows. When I laid my head on the pillow for the first time, I felt comfortable. It was like a supportive, soft cotton ball that wrapped nicely around my head but wasn't so soft that I would fall through. It seems a bit fluffier than I usually prefer, but not so much that I'm uncomfortable. In fact, I slept very well on these pillows for the first week. I also woke up with no neck or shoulder pain, which became a chronic problem and which I only partially attributed to my previous pillow (thought computer work was more of a Cuprite). So I was very happy with the pillow right away, but my husband found the pillow too fluffy and reported neck pain. He wanted to remove some of the inner filling. These pillows are fully adjustable and the shredded memory foam filling opens with an internal zipper. Part of the filling was easy to remove, but there are small drawstring pockets in the pillows. We shot about 8-10 handfuls for my husband's pillow, about 6 for mine. After that I still found the pillow comfortable, but now it was a bit "soft" for my liking. The first day after the fitting I woke up with neck pain again, although I was told that I could fluff the pillow with my hand and this didn't happen again. However, I didn't like how the pen was moving more now that there was less of it. So we made another adjustment when my husband (who also occasionally sleeps on his back) removed some extra filling from his pillow. and put something back with me. Although my pillow now has more filling, it is barely noticeable when two pillows are placed together on the bed. But now we both feel comfortable on these pillows and sleep well. We're encouraged that these cushions can last us a long time, partly because they appear to be of excellent quality and partly because we can further customize them as needed. We also like that they stay cool. Their only (very minor) downside that I can identify is that you can vaguely see the large Nappler logo underneath our light-colored pillowcases. Otherwise these pillows have proven to be the perfect choice for us and we highly recommend them!
