If you want a polyester scarf this is perfect for you. I have a degree in fashion. I know real silk when I feel it. Silk has a certain airiness, elasticity, suppleness and moisture to the touch. Although the thing is comfortable, airy, well colored, this does not negate the fact that this is NOT silk, but polyester. Because it is a loose weave and they are made from filament fibers, this does not make the fiber content like silk. This is the SECOND time I've attempted to purchase a PURE silk scarf from Revain and now I'm officially done. I HAVE FINISHED TRYING TO FIND A PURE SILK DRESS ON AMAZON. I'M DISAPPOINTED.
