I bought these stylish tires instead of the suction cup tires because they never stick. Or they do, and they end up soapy or moldy but gross nonetheless. So this one seemed perfect. The hoop itself is excellent and fits the spout exactly (plus straps for tightening/loosening the hoop). It's about the balls. The description says there are no holes, but since they look like little sponges, there are a million holes. My son started gagging as he started chewing on it because of all the water it was filled with. As soon as I removed it, I noticed small pieces of a black substance on his face and in his mouth. The ropes on the balls came loose after less than 5 minutes in the water! They were on his face and hands, floating in the water. I can't imagine that's great, safe or normal. I hold the hoop but the balls go straight to the trash can. Will find a small replacement for basketball elsewhere but still very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend unless you want to buy separately.
