But I'm heavy so I think the tightness was to be expected. All in all a very nice shoe that fits like a glove. I bought them because my DCs were worn out. This is a good replacement. I love how secure my feet are in it and how comfortable I can spread my toes. I wear 9 1/2 for women and 8 for men.
