The bumper and flexible TPU (as shown in the picture) are difficult to disassemble. I pulled and pulled on it and it turned out to be sewn together. I didn't want to risk breakage, so I relented and made a packing list for the return. But I liked it and decided to try again. I gave it a good tug from the bottom and then the top again, and eventually it fell apart. The bottom part where the touch sensor is ended up with a crease, but that was fixed when I put everything together. Nice! Due to COVID I have to sanitize everything at work and since I use my iPad as a cash register I'm more likely to destroy a cheap box of hospital grade sanitizer/sanitizer than my iPad.
