First of all I would like to say that I am a music lover and musician. I had many headphones but there are none. I wanted to play something in the middle of the night. Where I could turn on both the amp and the music I like to play to. In the past, you've been lucky enough to find decent headphones with 40mm drivers at an affordable price. But they couldn't handle two entrances. And certainly not in stereo. These Pro 10s fit that bill and do it very well. They are very comfortable to wear and the sound is crisp and clear even at maximum volume if you can stand it. They handle highs and lows just as well as my Polk Audio RTI7 and LSi7 series, as well as the CSIA6 and Polk 12-inch subwoofers, which consist of a 9.1 surround sound system, which says a lot about the sound quality of this pair of headphones . . I connect one side to my music laptop and the other to one of my amps. In this case I used an Orange Crush 35W amplifier. These are truly amazing headphones if you intend to use them for playing music or listening to music. or use them as monitor headphones. I still use the Boss BR8 mixer and recorder and they are great for that. The only thing I haven't used them for is making calls. And I never will. I didn't buy them for that. But the microphone is built into one cable, as well as a remote control button for playing, pausing, answering and ending calls. However, this headphone has no volume control. This is controlled by the source output. Whether stereo system or laptop, amplifier, mixer, whatever source you use. The earbuds are compact but appear to be very durable and well made. Only time will tell about longevity. This and how you take care of them. At this price I would recommend them to anyone who wants or needs studio quality headphones at a great price. Finally, the headphone reviews certainly influenced my purchase. So thank you to those who left honest reviews.
