Review on Frigidaire 154859401 Dishwasher Gasket Unit: Top-Quality Replacement Essential for Optimum Dishwashing Performance by James Wickware

This part replaces the Electrolux/Frigidaire OEM part number. 154782301 for "bottom door seal". The original gasket came out easily. With the door fully open, pull the seal straight up. When replacing, the majority of the seal is inserted relatively easily. I was able to pull the ends down with tweezers and lots of pressure with my fingers. However, later, after washing, I noticed that the rubber became much more supple. I was able to push the gasket further into the ends where the metal line is crimped. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely soak the pad in very hot water for five minutes before starting. In the end, this part solved my problem with a leaky dishwasher door. I'm very glad this was a Prime product to match (ordered Saturday and delivered Monday).
