I had bought a couple of shorter antennae on eBay a year or two ago, both longer than this. One worked somewhat, one not at all. Having read reviews of mixed satisfaction, I decided to try The Stubby Jr after a CravenSpeed employee assured me the company would return a product that was unsatisfactory; this was key because it wasn't listed to fit my Mercedes SLK, but I figured a product listed for a Mini would likely have the same size threads. Glad I tried it! This little gem works up to about 50 feet from my car, less than my half the distance of my 15" OEM whip antenna but plenty for what I need -- and it's only a couple inches long! Very low profile, great look!
