When I opened this and tried it on, it was very long, dragging along the floor and a tripping hazard. I considered returning it, but then read a few reviews that other women my size (5 ft tall) had the same concern, but washed it first and it shrunk to the perfect size. I tried the same and it worked! It shrunk just enough to be about an inch above the floor and with sandals or heels, it's the perfect length. The material is extremely light and comfortable! I love wearing it in the summer heat, because it's airy and flowy and keeps me so cool and comfortable! I bought one in red and one in black and may buy a couple more in other colors. I love it!
