Good screen protector. Beware of perfectionists.

I am a perfectionist so installing this device was the worst day of my life. I bought it for Lenovo T440 so that the keyboard would not leave any traces of use on the screen. The product itself is good, but I expected too much from it. The Bad: Unless you're in a clean room, it's impossible to apply without bubbles. This was actually not a defect in the product itself, but a limitation of what was physically possible. It's easy to apply a bubble-free screen protector to a small hard screen. But on a display this big, the size of the moving tread is just enough to stir up dust no matter what you're doing. Essentially, you want a clean space. My laptop doesn't have durable glass on the display so it was very difficult to squeeze out the bubbles without damaging the LCD panel. Being a perfectionist, on the 3rd try I finally got rid of all the bubbles and dust. and damaged the LCD panel. Its my fault. I got a decent score on the second try, but I MUST strive for perfection. Lenovo is easy to use, so I just swapped out the panel and carried on. GOOD OK. Aside from my ridiculous expectation that the screen protector would perform as flawlessly as a tempered glass screen protector, I think it's a great product. The matte finish looks indistinguishable from the matte finish on an OEM screen. It comes with everything you need to attach it and I'm sure it will do a great job of protecting your screen from scuffs, scratches and keyboard wear. So if you don't mind a few tiny smudges or bubbles around the edges or in the corners, this is a great screen protector. If I had to do it all over again I would take a screen cleaner and use the wet application method. This method worked best for me, but by the time I found out, numerous attempts had already taken their toll on the LCD. If used carefully, I think this method will give the best results.
