Review on πŸͺ‘ Grey Padded Office Desk Chair with Adjustable Height Active Learning Stool - Rocking, Wobble, and Tilting Motion by Sarah Holmes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Big! The butt hurts at first, but it goes away.

IMPORTANT! This chair is VERY sore for the first few days. Earlier in the week I was planning to come here and write a negative review about being too uncomfortable to sit on it for more than a few hours at a time, but now that 5 days have passed everything is fine. I guess avid cyclists might not have this issue, but for those of us who are not avid cyclists, this stool takes a bit of getting used to and yes, it does take a few days to get comfortable. The first day on the chair I stopped after half a day, it was too painful. But it's gone. Before it arrived I was concerned that the chair would slide out from under me if I leaned too far, but its underside is nice and grippy - feels like a car tire and I can lean and sway. and spin to your heart's content with no slippage. In photos it looks heavy on top, or at least balanced top to bottom, but don't let the photos fool you - it's MUCH heavier on the bottom than on top. It's heavy enough - heavy enough to be durable, but light enough to get up and moving quickly. and there's a nice groove under the seat to grab it when you lift it. Also, and admittedly this is a comment for a small subset of buyers, it's really great for playing the piano. I thought I would love it and was glad to get it, but I like it a lot more than I thought I would. That means after the first few days the sore muscles are over :-).
