Review on πŸŽ„ Kurt Adler UL 30-Light Crystal Snowflake Treetop for Christmas Trees - Brown by Firman Harrington

Excellent star - even better if it strums a little.

I live in the UK and had to import this. Manufacturer's note: I think they will sell very well in the UK and Europe with LED lights. My search began with my new tree. My old star was ailing, glue and glitter no longer concealed its age. I wanted a starburst shape with lights so I didn't have to think about where to hide the garlands. This star is in top form. The lights that appear on it are old style Christmas lights which are too white and bright in my opinion. The mold has a front and back and a low profile. The wires to the headlights are thick and neatly folded at the rear - although they're still visible and I don't like them. So I bought a set of 100 copper wire microphones - not battery powered - plug-in and set about dismantling the star. On the back of the "crystals" there are holders for old lanterns. The shape is made up of three layers, and after carefully noting the position of the old wires and their bend, I used copper ultralights up, down, and around the "crystal" arms and center. A couple of white zip ties to replace the ones I had to cut to take the star apart and some hot glue on the copper wire completed the repair. The result was a star with a beautiful gold-pink glow from the copper wire, and the light didn't overwhelm my tree. I think it's great now. The star stand comes with a clip and velcro which works well and securely holds the rather heavy form. Their green color blends with the foliage. Buy but switch.
