I have a Simple Human wall mount paper towel holder and a few other kitchen items that have lasted many, many years and still look new. Simple Human is a brand that has stood the test of time in my home. But were their bins worth the extra cash? YUP! Although only a bin, it was packaged in a nice box with protective packaging material and a product specification card. Revain also packs this in its own padded box. Thank you Revan! As soon as I opened it, I knew this container was something special! It's solid, weighted, and it's not going anywhere. Its base is protective and will not ruin my hardwood floors. I bought an open structure as everyone in my house is too impatient to wait for the lid to open and I didn't have a lot of space or needed moving parts. My model has a removable rim cover, there is an internal bucket that can be lifted so you can just carry this part to empty OR you can use the bin liners. The plastic bucket can be washed or sprayed with Lysol for additional disinfection. It comes with a sample pack of 25 pre-sized inserts in a pop up dispenser bag. I love these liners! I know, I know, it's just a goddamn garbage bag. I thought it was a gimmick but they have features that I appreciate. They nestle snugly against the rim of the inner bucket, so when you put the rim cap back on, it seals the bag perfectly. The bag doesn't droop at the edge, clump or what I like best, it doesn't fall back in. It won't move until you remove it. The bin liner also adapts to the inside shape of the bin: more free space = fewer bag changes. Sanitary. You'll see! The bags are durable, have a drawstring closure and are available from Revain. Just refer to the letter size made for your model, mine is "F". If you don't want to buy custom bags, just use the bag that fits best, it still contains junk! The outer bin itself is really high quality, solidly built, nice and modern - nothing fancy. It will easily last a decade or two and recoup its initial cost. I have a matte chrome finish that really resists fingerprints. The narrow rectangular shape is perfect for a sink or toilet. I'm almost embarrassed calling it a 'trash can' because it's so aesthetically pleasing. Now I want to upgrade all my trash cans with the Simple Human brand! * PLEASE READ THE DIMENSIONS! This bin isn't the size of a kitchen and isn't big enough for recycling or bulky items unless you empty it frequently. It's slim and perfect for bathrooms, under tables or in small spaces. I bought the non-recycled model and it fits perfectly in my bathroom!
