Might do for a regular face towel although it only does a fair job of cleaning skin (oil, dirt, makeup). Then the statement about the benefits of charcoal seems like an exaggeration. My first thought was that these wipes are very, very white so the charcoal content should be minimal at best as the ingredients do not contain any bleach like titanium dioxide. Of course, if charcoal were to go through the bleaching phase, it would negate the #1 benefit charcoal has to offer: detoxification. In addition, the wipes are quite soft and smell like facial cleanser rather than having almost no smell of standard wipes, especially charcoal, as deodorizing is another benefit. They're nice and soft compared to standard baby wipes - although the fabric does stretch and fuzz easily (I wouldn't recommend other uses that standard baby wipes are often used for). The price would have been great if they were as advertised but overpriced compared to standard towels. Overall I would say they are not as advertised and not ideal for standard cleaning. I won't buy this again.
