The shields worked just fine at first but after the first few uses (and sterilizations) the connection between the shield and the plastic disc of diaphragm just falls off from time while pumping. While this doesn’t exactly effect the amount I pump it does effect the usefulness (and convenience) of the product. I would not buy this brand again as it doesn’t seem to hold up to everyday use.If the disc did not fall off I would say these are good. I still get good suction power with them (when the disc is attached).
