I bought this product to use my dog as a pee mat on the floor. I figured if it was designed for use in bed with a large person it could handle 30 pounds of dog urine. It's not very thick for starters, and when my dog has peed on it, it sometimes soaks and dampens my hardwood floors a bit. As a result, I have to wash the floor and the carpet doesn't do the job. I can only imagine if a man had peed on him in bed it would have been worse. I've had this product for a few months and it washes well but I doubt how long it will last. It arrived with a few imperfections and thin material. The pillow size is nice. In my picture my 8 lb cat is sitting on it to give you an idea of the size. It also has a textured back that helps with gliding, although it doesn't stop it from skidding across the floor. It could be better in bed. I will no longer buy it for my dog or use it in bed. I just didn't feel it matched other similar products I've bought.
