I'm a white female with straight, heavily bleached, thinning hair that breaks easily. I use another mask that SM has set for hair 3a, 3b and 3c. I now use pure coconut oil in my hair and sometimes a sulfate-free coconut shampoo. I bought this product because I need something to use in the shower that glides on and keeps my hair moisturized and clean between bleach and shampoos. I would have preferred to try other products but they were sold out due to COVID. My complaint is that I find it too flimsy and doesn't offer enough glide, I don't think it will protect me from breakage. After that I found that I am using a product without sulfated coconut oil, the product is just a conditioner but I have been using it mainly for human hair extensions for years and it is also cheaper than Ors. The ore didn't harm my hair, but I didn't feel like it moisturized my old favorite SM, it was a level lower, had a thick texture and withstood salt water, pools, tropical sleep and bleaching, it was all that I had ever needed in my travel hair care suitcase. I don't think I would buy this product again. I prefer a thick mask that provides maximum moisture to the hair. As a side note, this hasn't worked on any of my Remy hair extensions.
