Review on Brunette Magic Hair Bun Maker: 4 Pack Large Foam Sponge Buns for Elegant Updo’s, Ballet Buns, French Twist, Waves & More! by Marcia Estrella

Ideal for curly waves on long hair and buns.

I have thin long hair that used to look ridiculous when I tried to tie it in a bun. It's so easy to use, just straighten your hair into a nice ponytail, secure with a rubber band, then thread through the center of the bun maker and slide down (not quite, but before the ends come out ). , fold the ends of your hair inwards along the length and then start twisting the bun towards your head. If you can't twist it, just take the ends and bend them together to form a circle and push your hair to hide where the ends meet. Sometimes I need a hair clip downstairs to secure this rendezvous point, sometimes I don't. In any case, I get a good bouquet for the whole day. BUT it is best to use them to create long waves on long hair. Take a section of hair, mist it lightly with water to dampen it and any kind of adhesive you like (I use a bit of hairspray), then hold the bun vertically with one hand and slightly close to your scalp with the other hand grab a length of hair around the middle and start wrapping it around, go down the length of the bun maker so the wind is away from your face, don't wrap it forward (forget the hole in the center, use the full length of the bun maker) then fold both ends. Do this all over again. I divide my hair into 4 sections so I need 4 buns. In any case, after about 2 hours, when the hair is completely dry, unfold and comb with your fingers. You will have lasting curly long waves. I tried sleeping in them, which would be optimal, but they bothered me. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I had a shower cap or something. Anyway, I originally bought them to make my hair wavy. The fact that I can finally have fat buns is a plus.
