Review on πŸ’‘ Sunlite 7CFC/25/12PK Flame Tip 7W Incandescent Petite Chandelier Light Bulb - Crystal Clear (12 Pack) by Kim Major

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A little disappointed to say the least. Buyers should be aware!

I bought this pack of 25 bulbs to use in a pair of small night lights. Well I'm a little disappointed and here's why. The lamps are as described but do not have the advertised 2500 hour lifespan (instead they only last 1500 hours). Not to mention if they fit in my two night lights (too big). Heck, the actual look of the box is even different than the one in the Revain photo! See my attached photo for reference. In any case, these bulbs only fit in my fancy decorative lighthouse lamp or bathroom wall light, but their light output falls far short of the final fixture. I have three GE 40W G16 equivalent LEDs working in this light! I still prefer incandescent bulbs for some lighting applications in my home. Not all dimmers work with most newer LEDs, as I found with a Leviton Slide table lamp dimmer. I had to replace this dimmer with a Satco 90-1070. However, too often the LEDs are too bright in some cases. Who would want to sleep with a non-dimmable LED night light that puts out 200 lumens nearby? It's too bright guys trust me! I prefer 100 lumens or less which is why I used these incandescent bulbs. The only lamp they work with for night lighting is my beacon lamp mentioned above. That's not a problem as the light output is just right for my needs. What I can do in the future since I will be keeping these bulbs with me is find an old style night lamp that doesn't contain a bulb. size restrictions. I had one once but it got lost over the years and I haven't been able to find it since. Most modern night lights use LED technology, but some fancier models are too expensive for my budget. I don't want to spend $30 or $40 on a night light no matter how fancy it is! Anyway, this is where my review ends.
