As they were cheap I wasn't surprised they weren't very strong. After receiving them, I went to the grocery store, bought onions and quickly divided them into several of those bags. But I didn't fill them all but didn't fill them to the brim as this one had part of the top band separated from the packaging. A small piece of fabric attached (and clamped until dry) with my favorite E6000 glue solved the problem for me. However, those who value a "fresh look from the manufacturer" should be careful and wait for repairs without filling them too full.
