Review on Studebaker Portable Cassette Recorder Speakers by Wyteboi Nallamothu

I wanted to love this cassette player/radio so much! It was the first cassette player I've bought in 20 years. I love the retro inspired design and the price was great. I eagerly opened this package after work when it arrived and immediately put a new cassette inside. I pressed the play button and heard nothing but a buzz. I took out the cassette, unplugged the player, put the cassette back in and hit the fast-forward button. This time the cassette played. but after a few seconds the player stopped again. I opened the player to take out the cassette and I see that the player has started to "eat" my new cassette! :o Thank goodness I had a lot of pins around and was able to wind the tape back to normal. I will be returning this player and buying a trusted brand instead.
