As other reviewers have noted, the base of this stand requires more weight. Hot gluing 20p to the base worked well. Thanks to the previous reviewer for the advice. We have a glue gun with a sturdy "leg" instead of the more usual two-legged built-in stand, so it didn't hold up very well on this one. I took a dremmel and machined two grooves in it. It only took a few minutes and now it works perfectly. See photos. Once you set it up correctly it's very useful and we use it every time we use a glue gun. A very good (if somewhat imperfect) product.
