(3.75/5) I am writing this review about this tablet. I bought this tablet mainly to read comics and surf the web while lying on the couch, bed, etc. My main device is a gaming desktop and I don't want to be tied to my desk all the time and I felt like my phone wasn't quite suitable for the purposes I mentioned. For my use I would say this is a very good tablet. It has a nice big 9.6 inch screen and the colors are bright and saturated. The overall construction of the tablet makes a solid impression. It's a good weight and feels solid and sturdy. So far it seems fast and responsive in terms of performance. I had no issues with lag when opening apps or scrolling. I've played a bit of Fruit Ninja and Terraria and both games ran smoothly. Video playback appears to be usable. I tested the Narcos series on Netflix and some 720p YouTube videos as this tablet's resolution is 1280x800 and the picture quality was as crisp and clear as 720p can get. So far the battery life seems good. I could read and surf the web for hours without having to charge the battery. It can also be instantly upgraded to Android 6.0, which is a definite plus over some other similarly priced tablets. Now for the cons, as I mentioned, the resolution is 1280 x 800 which I think is a bit low for a tablet with a 9.6 inch screen. Another reviewer mentioned the ability to see the individual pixels that make up the display. I would say that 90% of the time this hasn't been a problem in my past use. But sometimes, depending on the color composition of the image you're looking at, you can see pixels. Another thing that other reviewers have pointed out is the sound quality. It only has one small speaker and honestly it doesn't sound that great, but I don't think it's as bad as some other reviewers are making it out to be. In my opinion, that's about what to expect from such a mid-range mobile device. It has a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor and has been fine for me so far, but I could imagine it being a bit slow for some users. I also think I should mention that I was able to get this tablet in a combo deal where I only paid around $170 for the tablet. For the price I paid I think I got a good deal but I have a feeling that it might be a bit overpriced if it's not on sale/part of a combo deal. Final Thoughts: For my purposes (comic book/ebook, watching some light mobile games) it works really well. If you plan on listening to music or watching videos/TV/movies with this tablet, I would recommend investing in a decent Bluetooth speaker as well, as the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. Also, another reviewer mentioned something suggesting that their onscreen keyboard didn't work until they set it up, mine worked right out of the box. Finally, as I mentioned, this is a second device for me and works well for my purposes, and if your needs are similar it will most likely work for you too. But if you're looking for something to be your primary computing/entertainment device, I'd recommend spending a little more for something with a little more processing power, higher resolution, and better sound quality.
