annoying car is good for scratching posts
My cat likes to scratch the sofa when he wants to get out, but I ignored him. He knew it worked every time I kicked him out right away. I bought a pack of these screen protectors and put them on the couch. it worked! They are a bit glittery with cute kittens on them so they are not visible. He tried to scratch himself but quickly lost interest. it seems to annoy him.
