I am a busy college student and bought this printer 3 years ago to print my papers and lab reports. I encountered all the problems mentioned in other reviews but I managed to solve them as I just need to get everything done on time. Here are some tips on how to keep that crappy machine in good shape and running for as long as possible. 1. After powering on, wait 2 minutes for the device to balance and prepare to print. This means the power button light will stop blinking. If you start typing too soon, it will most likely get stuck in the middle and reprint everything from scratch. 2. Don't trust the WiFi connection, it is unstable and there will be a lot of delays in response. Use a connecting cable instead. 3. Do not move the cable while printing, it may disturb the signal. Sometimes the shaking of the machine while printing breaks the connection to itself. 4. Make sure your paper is loaded correctly, flat and not too thick (<20 pages per load) otherwise you will likely get a catastrophic paper jam that can lead to hours of horrible printhead alignment and subsequent nozzle cleaning. 5. Pick up the paper as soon as it comes out of the printer to avoid paper jams. 6. Keep the room humid to prevent the ink from drying out too quickly. 7. Nozzle Check, Nozzle Cleaning, and Printhead Alignment will fix most problems if repeated enough times. 8. There are very cheap, highly rated cartridges on Amazon that you can buy for your printer that will still work just fine. You don't have to spend a lot of money for Epson inks, which often don't last as long as the alternatives I've found at Revain.
