Review on FasciaBlaster® FaceBlasterTM NuggetTM Ashley Black by Samantha Pollard

I have been struggling with pain and tension in my muscles (legs, back, etc.) for many years. I've used styrofoam rollers, foam balls, gouache rocks for years and nothing has really taken the pressure off. After a supposedly minimally invasive operation, I then developed postoperative abdominal adhesions. I ended up with incredibly painful, aching Charlie horse type cramps in my lower abdomen. I had to go to a specialized physiotherapy where the therapists used different instruments (guasha stones etc.) in addition to a very aggressive (and painful) manual therapy that left me bruised almost every time. Then I saw a video about the fascia blaster and was fascinated by it. I bought it right away. What has changed in the game! It's much easier than styrofoam and more efficient and much less time consuming than styrofoam. I do this on abs, legs (thighs, front and back and sides), calves, buttocks (as best I can). I don't like using oil because it can be messy, so I do it either in the shower on damp skin or over my clothes (sweatpants, cotton t-shirt) and it's just as effective. That hurts? Yes. It really hurts if you do it hard enough, but foam rolling is also very painful and physically debilitating when you have to keep your entire body weight on your hands. With a fascia blaster you have to exert enough pressure to release tense muscles/adhesion/etc. to loosen. So I do it aggressively, it really hurts, but the more you work that area the less pain it gets until the pain goes away. I feel GREAT afterwards. I bring loads of fascia blaster variations to any massage I prefer. Masseurs love them and for me massage is more effective. I've even gifted face blaster sets to friends. I keep one set on each floor of my house and I keep one in my luggage! I really love it!
