I ordered this rattle toy for my 20 month old daughter. She's into musical instruments and also likes to dance, so I thought she was having fun. Although the toys are cute, with a nice wooden handle and colorful rainbow ribbons, she gets bored pretty quickly. The sound of the bells is VERY quiet; I know she would love it if she could make some noise! So it's more of a "kids toy" than a "toddler toy" (and yes, I understand that's how it's sold here). but to be honest I doubt the safety for a small child putting it in the mouth.
