Pieces are not very unique, but numbering on back helps the kids a bit
It's a pretty cool little puzzle and my 5 year old enjoyed putting it together, but many of the pieces that don't match correctly can fit together without any problem, so it could lead to kids not really learning the correct way to match the picture if they just mash the pieces together. Luckily my 5 year old quickly realized how the numbering on the back worked, so when he got stuck he could revert to the numbers, but these should just be cut differently so they don't all fit together incorrectly so easily.
- I think the age should start at 4 years old not 3
- The puzzle pieces are difficult to distinguish from one another
