My husband and I had been using a simple table in our living room for years. One day I decided I wanted a table with shelves for a couple of books and to store the items we currently had in a plastic NHL souvenir bucket on the floor (super classy). It took a while to find tables with at least two shelves, and then to find something that wasn't all that expensive but wasn't a cheap gassing piece of c**p either. This table has the shelves I wanted, a bonus drawer, and the dimensions to fit where our old table sat. Plus it comes assembled, so all in all, a winner. Everything from the bucket is now neatly stored in the drawer or basket, and the books that started the whole search are on the bottom shelf. I am very happy with the look and functionality of the table.I had to take off a star, however, because there are discolorations on the top of the table. They annoy my husband, but not enough for me to pack the table up and return it. Other than those flaws, the table arrived undamaged.
