There are 3 fixed length pieces so you can use 1, 2 or 3 of them depending on how tall you want. One of the pieces has an adjustable piece to accommodate intermediate heights. My ceiling is too low for three fixed parts. But that's too high for 2 pieces plus the maximum extension of the variable part. So now I need to cut one of the fixed length pieces. Pity! If you make the fixed length pieces just 1.5 inches shorter, or make one a few inches slightly longer than the other, you could achieve continuous size. The instructions are English-like, so they're not too difficult to decipher. If you're unlucky (ceiling height between 98-101 inches), assembly should be very easy.
