I bought this to protect the door from my American bully and GSD as they needed to lock the back room door for Christmas dinner. Some of our guests are not dog lovers. With all the smells of food and people, I was afraid that the dogs would come through the cheap empty door. It did an exciting job of saving me from having to replace or patch the door. For the most part it was a bowl and stick. I used an old gift card to press down on the sheet and squeeze out any trapped air bubbles. For the most part, once you've fixed it to a door or wall, it's not that noticeable. Obviously a glossy plastic surface will pick up some of that when the lights are on, but even then it's not ugly or awkward. The sheets are easy to cut, if you need to resize, be sure to measure the space you need it for and the size of the product. The product corresponds to the dimensions described.
