Good hardware, but control software and bios are buggy.

If you're looking for a creative laptop priced between $1,400 and $1,500 in 2021, this laptop packs a lot of nice features, including a 4th Gen SSD slot for super-fast reads and writes files. And Thunderbolt 4 so you can go back to a desktop setup with just a power cord and a Thunderbolt cable. The 4k OLED screen is good even if it's only 60Hz, but it's clearly not intended for gamers. Now for the bad details that hopefully a gigabyte can fix. The management software is clunky, bloated software, necessary as it's really needed to manage fan profiles to keep the laptop cool so it doesn't get choked up; There is a repo on Gitlab that is an open source alternative for previous gigabyte eros (so keep an eye on it). The BIOS settings are very empty and you don't actually configure anything...unless you flash a new custom BIOS, which is to say set the RAM to 3200MHz in the XMP profile. You can just get it to work manually by tweaking the RAM XMP profile as this machine doesn't.
