I installed a valve in the metal door leading to the solarium. Installed for my two kittens (1 year, 4 months). While I don't have any outdoor products, they do have a significant temperature difference between the tanning bed and the house. This product keeps the temperature separate! There is no draft and no noticeable seepage. Very happy. No hardware is required, you can just use a large amount of silicone and then stick it on the door (or wall) for 24 hours. Cats love it, by the way. Had to work with them a few times but now they use it there all the time. I can say that this product will last a long time as it is made of excellent material. Highly recommended
