Our little one has been swimming (my mum and I) for a little over a year so we've used over 50 swim nappies (more if you factor in the holiday season). During that time we used huggies and another brand. I think huggies fit a bit snugger than other brands of nappies and probably a little snugger than huggies of the same size. They are difficult to put on and even more difficult to take off when wet. (I usually just spread them out by the edges.) To prevent them from soaking up water from the pool, these diapers absorb little to no moisture. As a result, we have had several instances of wet car seats and wet clothing on the way to swim lessons. (We get dressed before we leave the house and take a quick trip to the YMCA for classes. It's easier to use the dressing room only once when we're done.) They're good at holding back bowel movements (like I did last week discovered). I will continue to buy swim diapers until our daughter goes potty (and then again when our youngest goes to school) but I wish they weren't much more expensive than regular diapers.
