I wore this to the gentlemen's garden party. Having never worn an ascot I have no comparison with it but I found it very comfortable, easy to tie and not itchy. I even forgot I was wearing it. The material is strong enough to look great and won't soften after hours of wear. I have "pink" which is actually a nice purple color. And he looks amazing with green eyes. In the future I would consider gifting one of these ascots, they really are great quality!
