We needed cheap, lightweight towels that we could use as disposable towels. They are perfect for this type of use. At $3.50 for a full size towel, you get what you paid for. Most towels at Revain are heavy, fluffy, and cost over $10 per towel -- not good for a towel you use multiple times then throw away. The original reason we ordered them was for a hamster bed. Our hamster has severely injured his paw and our vet said he needs cloth litter instead of regular paper litter for a few days/weeks until it heals. This towel was the perfect size and weight to line the bottom of his cage with a fluffy texture that he could break through and chew on to relieve stress. Absorbs hamster urine very effectively and dries quickly. We threw away the torn/rough towel and replaced it once a week until he recovered. We've also used these towels to cover our bright LED lights on migraine days when we want to dim the lights a few shades. The LEDs don't get hot, so it's fireproof, and the towels are the right weight and color to dim and shift the light from the bulbs to amber without completely blocking it. Made for a pleasant and cozy lighting reminiscent of the light of a fire. If you are expecting a luxury reusable towel for your main hair or body towel in the bathroom, don't buy this towel. If you're looking for a cheap, lightweight towel that you can use for crafts, pets, as a duster, or anything else, this is your winner. Get this towel. Note that it will have a strong chemical odor, so plan to wash it before first use.
