Purchased to replace old glass headlights on a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. Overall the fit and finish is good, but I had a few issues: Issue 1. The grill headlight rubber grommets that came with it were the wrong size. At least for my model year. I'm sure they can work on a model for another year. Mine were too small, but that's okay. I just reused my old ones. There's nothing wrong with those headlights, but that wasn't the main issue. The problem was that one headlight had 2 seals broken and the other had about 2 or 3 pieces bent out of the box. I still managed to put the old gaskets in place, but if I took them back the posts would definitely crack. Problem 2: The outer trailing edge bracket broke trying to remove it after the second replacement. I just used old clips from old headlights. They popped out and stayed in the wing when removed. This made it easier to reuse. Problem 3: Lightbulbs are not tight. When they read about a previous review of these headlights, they used a large o-ring. I couldn't find them at my local parts store so I just used an old camera and cut them to shape. Now the bulbs are stuck and you don't have to worry about damaging them or damaging the headlight housing. Problem 4. Headlight Direction and Radiation Pattern. The projected light pattern makes them difficult to align. I could point them up and down, but I couldn't steer them left to right on the passenger side headlight. Turning the adjustment screw did not move the headlights left or right. Not sure if naked or what. I hope they will be ok when I inspect the truck next year. At least they aren't high and don't blind oncoming cars. In general, they are great for replacing regular ones. Just a few questions about the quality of the plastic and the functionality of its parts. Would have been 2 stars but upgraded to 3 because they look and fit well. Just be careful during the installation and prepare for these troubles. I hope some of you don't have to worry about them.
