Review on RSHTECH USB 3.1 Gen 1 HDD Enclosure Aluminum Type C for 3.5 inch HDD/SSD - Supports UASP, 16TB Drives, and SATA External Hard Drive Dock Case (RSH-339C) by Brian Barnes

Pretty compact device with a very nice aluminum body. The internal hard drive bracket is plastic and a bit flimsy, but it's only there to provide a drive box, so it's no big deal. I first tried connecting the device with a printer cable that was already connected to the computer, but I got a very disappointing transfer rate of 7.8Mbps; With the supplied cable, the speed increased to almost 35 Mbit/s (see photo), so I decided to use the supplied cable. I wish the device would be better if the power cord was a bit longer. It's only about 3 feet long, so it's difficult to plug in and still hold the case on the desk next to the computer. Give it 4 stars. Also, I would find the device more appealing if the power connector and USB port were on the back of the device rather than the front, and there were only LEDs in the front. It would require a complete redesign so I understand why they are where they are. All in all, I would buy it again anytime.
