Review on Waxed Polyester Cord: Waterproof Black String for Jewelry Making, Crafting - 1mm x 100 Yards by Dawn Fischer

I used this cord to tie a jade pendant after trying nylon cord and finding it tangled very easily. This cable, if it really is polyester, should melt in a fire, but this one only burns and chars. That tells me this is not what the ad says. I also found that the regularity of the cord itself was lacking. There were pieces that were obviously not properly woven into the cord that caught on the beads as I pulled them down the length of the thread. I ended up having to unwind the spool until I found a good, consistent piece to use, and then I had to thread the beads very carefully. Let's see how it holds up over time. I hope it is durable.
