One of my huskies loves to dig holes and then sit in them. Sometimes the holes are in the yard, in the driveway, or in sofa cushions. I thought she would like something that cozy and maybe she would stop ripping the sofa cushions. So far, so good! This is a great bed for the price, it fits perfectly in the dog crate (24" x 36" with only room for their food bowls) and they seem to like it a lot. The smaller Husky (45 pounds) fits perfectly (pictured). The larger Husky (60 pounds) fits in well but seems to like it too. Edit: years later these beds have held up great and we haven't had a mysterious daybed explosion since we got them!
